Is Your Husband Cheating? 5 Signs to Look For
More and more husbands are having affairs these days. Or so it seems. No matter who I talk to, either it is happening to friends or they have friends it is happening to. It seems it is all I hear about lately. While that is a sad fact, the good news is it really is easy for you to catch your cheating husband, especially when you know what to look for.
For a long time I kept telling myself my husband would never do this, would never cheat on me. But, yes, he did. The best thing to do is when you can stop thinking that way and really start believing that yes, it is possible, and you start to pay more attention to the signs, it will become very clear whether he is or isn’t. Once I accepted it was possible, I paid more attention, and yes, he had every sign and then some. And after I had proof, no way for him to deny it.
One thing to remember… Do not confront them until you are absolutely sure! I was “semi sure” at some points but got anger, yelling and he swore up and down I was crazy and he’d never do that. In the end, it was all lies (part of his anger and blame me for his problems) and once I had proof, he could no longer deny. So until you are sure, wait to confront or question.
5 signs to look for to see if your husband is cheating on you are below.
1 – He Changes his Appearance
If your husband has changed his appearance in some way, it can be a sign of cheating. If he starts to wear a different type of clothes, (different underwear even), if he starts to work out when he never did before, wears cologne he never did are some signs he could be cheating.
2 – His schedule starts changing
Does you husband who never worked late before, work late now? Or does one who always worked overtime, work even more overtime? Is he hard to get ahold of during lunchtime all of a sudden? Or does he go on more business trips than he did before? Or, is he all of a sudden starting to spend time with friends, without you, when he didn’t before? Does he go out on the weekend, even during the day, with the excuse of going to a friends house, or going out with a friend when that is not normal for him? Or does he have to frequently run to the store for something, -lowes, home depot -and come back hours later with excuses about traffic or the store being packed?
3 – A Loss of Interest in Family
This could be one of the major signs a husband may be cheating. If your husband once was very involved with your family all of a sudden doesn’t have any interest in doing things with you or your kids or other family members, it may be a sign your husband is cheating. He may also seem to always have something else to do in order to avoid being around family and would prefer to be alone or go somewhere without you.
4 – Guilt
If your husband is having an affair, he may be feeling guilty and it can work in different ways. He may show you more attention or he will have alot anger and resentment towards you. This seems to be what most cheating husbands do. The anger seems to give cheating husbands a reason not to feel so guilty. They start blaming you for every single thing wrong in their lives and get more and more angry at you. In most cases, the wife is hit with this and has no idea why or what she has done wrong. It just seems like their husband has gone off the deep end. A very good sign your Click husband is cheating.
5 – His Phone Use
One other sign that your husband may be cheating on you is if his phone use has changed or if he starts hiding it from you. Does he try to sneak phone calls? Does he go for alot of walks or outside and take his cell phone with him? Does he text message an excessive amount? If you can view the useage log, which is a good way to find out who he is talking to or texting and may be helpful in determining if there is someone else. This should be done because your husband may be cheating on you.
In the case of his cell phone being a “work” phone it is a little harder to view and use this as proof of anything going on.
The above are just a few of the many signs that your husband may be a cheater and are the easiest to catch and watch for. It is very hard to find out that your husband is cheating on you, but it is important for you to know for sure. He can be putting your health at risk first of all, and there are other things to consider not only in what you will do if he is, but how you will confront him. Also, if you are a parent, you have your children’s safety and wellbeing to take into consideration.
In any case, always be sure before confronting. My husband did all of the above and then some. Even with the 5 signs above, it wasn’t enough to get him to confess. I got the screaming and yelling and nasty person blaming me for things that made no sense to me.
So, I needed more proof. (whch I did get) And there are other ways to find out if your husband is cheating. It works, you can find out. And you can do what you have to do for yourself and your family. But you need to know.
